Artists Confederacy believes in good story telling, and there is no better place than the stage to observe it. If a play can create a strong and lasting impression, that play would be a good candidate to consider for production. One of our projects, DARK SPRING, is adapted from the play "Stranger," which enjoyed an extended run at a theater in Hollywood. Michael Elias' play "Catskill Sonata," directed by Paul Mazursky, has just finished an extended engagement in Los Angeles. Artists Confederacy is assisting in the transition of bringing the play to New York, and will follow the resulting production with a film adaptation on location in New York. Artists Confederacy will continue its interest in theater and anticipate discovering plays of potential and power for possible theatrical as well as film productions.
